Hollywood film star Robert Wagner not a suspect

(Reuters) - Homicide detectives who have reopened an inquiry into the death Natalie Wood said on Friday that the film star's husband, actor Robert Wagner, was not considered a suspect in the case.

The new investigation was opened into Wood's 1981 drowning off the California coast after a yacht captain said that he lied about the incident three decades ago and now holds Wagner responsible for her death.

Los Angeles County Sheriff's Homicide Lt. John Corina told reporters at a news conference on Friday that the original finding that Wood's death was an accidental drowning had not changed.

But detectives had reopened the investigation based on new information from several sources "which we felt was substantial enough to make us take another look at this case," Corina said.

Asked by reporters if Wagner, who is now 81, was considered a suspect, Corina responded: "No."

So the question remains why did the police reopened the case or is this just another conspirancy against film stars. To read the whole article go to this link:

GWAR guitarist dead-Band continues tour

Fans of GWAR, the shock rock speed metal band known for its monstrous costumes, are mourning the loss of their guitarist Cory Smoot, who was found dead Thursday while the band was traveling to Canada for an upcoming show. Smoot, known to fans as the character Flattus Maximus, had been a member of the band since 2002.

According to the Associated Press, Smoots age and cause of death are unclear. Smoot was the sixth guitarist to play the role of Flattus Maximus, and in taking the role, he became a part of the the band’s theatrical onstage mythology. To see a GWAR concert is to see a series of comically gory vignettes, acted out by musicians in monstrous costumes that may have been inspired by the creatures of H.P. Lovecraft.

Former Apple CEO & Co-Founder Steve Jobs, died at the age of 56 yesterday. The death cause was cancer. Over the last 24h these news have been treding to new heights on twitter & facebook.

A man who took a big part in changing the whole electronics industry is no longer living now. All we can say "REST IN PEACE STEVE" you deserved it finally. He had cancer and died due to this illness.

What i find most valuable on Steve Jobs is that he was working for only a dollar per year. You can google this if u don´t believe it. One of the hardest working man in the world refused a higher salary.

Other top managers earning 1million or more bucks per year should really take a look at Steve Jobs and also accumulate his behaviour in any similiar way.

Going to quote the new CEO now: "No words can adequately express our sadness at Steve's death or our gratitude for the opportunity to work with him," said Apple CEO Tim Cook in an email to employees. "We will honor his memory by dedicating ourselves to continuing the work he loved so much."

The movie "Courageous" is on top of the sales list at Fandago

“Courageous,” a film about four police officers attempting to be good fathers and maintain their Christian faith, may be the most popular new movie release of the weekend.

The new movie — which opens on 1,161 screens in the USA was co-written and directed by Alex Kendrick, the filmmaker behind past faith-based films such as “Fireproof” and “Facing the Giants” — is leading advance sales on Fandango throughout the whole week, according to data provided by the online ticket retailer.

As of this morning, purchases for “Courageous” accounted for 26% of the transactions on the site; the only other new release that comes close is “50/50,” which was in fourth place with 7%.

What's interesting about Courageous is how good the writing is. The best-written character is Javier (Robert Amaya), a jobless Chicano immigrant who prays for intervention and lands a job building a deck for Adam (who is waiting for another Javier, and assumes the first Mexican he sees is his guy). The scene where they sort out their confusion is actually an inspired bit of comedy.

And if you have a tendency to nod off during sermons, Courageous has a cure for that -- a noisy last act gun-battle with drug dealers that's primetime ready.

Five billion non-Christians in the world believe you don't necessarily have to accept Jesus in your heart to be a good father. Take a look and watch the movie to make up your own mind.

Sly Stone now living in van & homeless

The former funk singer, who fronted the group Sly & the Family Stone, opened up to The New York Post over the weekend about how his use of drugs and money mismanagement have led him to a homeless life on the road.Stone had this to say about the van, according to the paper:
"I like my small camper," he says, his voice raspy with age and years of hard living. "I just do not want to return to a fixed home. I cannot stand being in one place. I must keep moving."
Stone records music on a laptop computer inside the van. The Post reports Stone is paranoid and thinks the FBI is after him.

Stone tells the Post he started having serious money problems in 2009, stemming from a bad management contract he signed in 1989. He has sued the manager with whom he made that deal.

The 68 year old parks the vehicle in a residential street in the notoriously rough Los Angeles neighborhood of Crenshaw, where a retired couple provides him with a warm meal each day and use of a shower.

HP got a new CEO?! Meg Whitman replacing Leo Apotheker rumors

Former eBay CEO and former California gubernatorial candidate Meg Whitman may be on deck for the top slot at Hewlett-Packard, if anonymous sources and current rumors  are right.

Current CEO Léo Apotheker has been at the post for about a year, but the company has had a run of bad luck in recent months. Hp Stock dropped 43% also another reason to believe the rumors.

In considering Ms. Whitman, H-P is looking to a Silicon Valley veteran who turned eBay Inc. from a quirky start-up into the world's leading online auction company and who remains an influential figure in the technology scene as an H-P director and an adviser to a leading venture-capital firm.

But the former eBay chief executive also has little background in the hardware industry, never ran a company of H-P's size, made some missteps at eBay and most recently drew attention for a failed bid to become governor of California.

In an interview Monday, Ms. Meg Whitman, 55, described H-P as "a Silicon Valley icon that is the process of reshaping itself." She acknowledged that the Palo Alto, Calif., company "has certainly had challenges" and that "time will tell" how it fares, but she added, "I'm optimistic about H-P's future."

In addition to stock losses and the webOS problems, the company also had to lay off 100,000 workers in the Palm division. Prior to Leo Apotheker’s appointment, former CEO Mark Hurd resigned under pressure after a sexual harassment investigation as well as various accusations about expense reports related to the claim. The board found no evidence to support the harassment claims.

So far the rumor is not acknowledged or commented by HP nor Whitma. Only the future and futher days can prove it right or wrong.

Don´t ask; don´t tell ending after holding for 18 long years

Tuesday, the day that the military "don't ask, don't tell" policy was officially repealed, was remarkable mostly for how normal it was. The military went about its business. The wars in Iraq and Afghanistan went on. The Pentagon had long since finished its preparations; it had even begun recruiting openly gay people to enlist once the repeal took effect.

Pentagon officials for their part stressed that they believe sexual orientation remains “a personal and private matter.” When asked what will happen Tuesday if a gay individual walks into a recruiting station today and wants to join the military, Pentagon spokesman George Little noted that “while applicants are not asked, or required to reveal their sexual orientation, statements about sexual orientation will not be a bar to military service.

But the end of "don't ask, don't tell" -- a Clinton-era policy that forbade gay service members from disclosing their sexual orientation and their officers from asking about it -- was tremendously consequential for the service members affected by it, and also politically.

Intrested in reading more about it?

Legacy of Tupak Shakur still living on

Even 15 years after Tupak Shakur´s death on the 13th September 1996 his legacy is still living on.
He was shot in Las Vegas watching a boxing match at the MGM.

One of Pac's greatest qualities was his ability to compliment emcees on the microphone, and the artistic mentality he carried often reflected on the performance of those around him.

Born to two Black Panthers, Tupac understood poverty and black struggle, and he wasn't afraid to express it through his music. As intelligent, profound and articulate as he was in song, 'Pac also remained relatable, controversial and contradictory. So while tracks like "Brenda's Got a Baby," "Keep Ya Head Up" and "Dear Mama" were made to uplift, fiery anthems like "Hit 'Em Up," "Ambitionz Az a Ridah" and "Against All Odds" stood as chest-pounding, testosterone-filled thug anthems. Other hits like "I Get Around," "How Do U Want It" and "Toss It Up" celebrated Tupac's flirtatious side.

After his death, Tupac's legacy lives, particularly with the eight albums that have been released, including a double-disc greatest hits collection. He has been immortalized in film, books and even college courses, as well as through the works of musicians who have come after him. Traces of 'Pac can be found in nearly almost every rapper from 50 Cent to T.I. Jay-Z, Eminem, and others - all sampled from Shakur.

In his death he has remained firmly rooted as a hip-hop legend, but at the same time his legend has surpassed musical genre. Tupac Shakur was more than a rapper or poet or a thespian; he is a motivator, an inspiration to all of us -- even in death.

Remeber 9th September 2001?

Many of you still remember 9/11/2001? I suppose you do. It was the day when 2 air planes crashed into the "old world trade center" in New York City and the building collapsed.

From that day on many things have been done to make air travel more safely. As for tomorrow 10 years later there will be a silence minute at the stock & forex market.

In remembrance of the decennial of September 11, 2001, organizations will visit the NASDAQ MarketSite in Times Square to officially ring the NASDAQ Stock Market Opening Bell.

But what about the security nowadays with Osama Bin Laden, the war of Libyia etc. World War III coming up? who knows.

I just hope the national and regional governments really learned from the faults in the past and will not repeat them again.

Serena Williams wins 6-3 & 6-4 against Ana Ivanovic

Serena Williams won her 4th round match agains Ana Ivanovic and advances into the quarterfinals. It was quite an easy win though it did not start good for Williams.

Ivanovic, the 16th seed, struggled on her serve throughout the match at a blustery Arthur Ashe Stadium, successful with only 51% of her first serves and winning only 29% of points on her second. Twenty-nine unforced errors and eight double faults by the Serb made the task easier for Williams, who will face Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova, the 17th seed from Russia, in the quarterfinals

A lone break of the Ivanovic serve proved the difference in the second set and, although the 23-year-old improved as the match continued, the errors remained and Williams completed victory after one hour and 17 minutes when the Serb fired a forehand long.

Notre Dame football team suffers nightmare in 4th quarter

Notre Dame High School's football team seemed to have things well in hand through three quarters Friday night.

But the roof fell in on the Crusaders in the final 10½ minutes, beginning with a botched punt at midfield, as Palmerton presented new coach Chris Walkowiak a 19-12 Colonial League victory in both teams' season opener in Bethlehem Township.

Three of those turnovers were interceptions by Dysean Alexander, but Notre Dame could not turn any of them into points.

Derek Jater and Minka Kelly no longer a couple

Baseball player Derek Jater(New York Yankees) & Minka Kelly(actress) and former daughter of Aerosmith guitarist Rick Dufay are no longer a couple. What happened to the three year lasting relationship is still a bit unclear. But the strike out has happened and they are no longer a pair since Friday. This was announced by a represantative of Kelly in the People magazine

Jeter is one of top earners in the Major League Baseball and Kelly credits include series like "Parenthood" & "Friday Night Lights".

Both already had relationships in the past. While Derek Jater dated women like Mariah Carey, Cameron Diaz, Scarlett Johnson and Jessica Biel - Minka Kelly had some ongoing relations with John Mayer, Chris Evans and Donald Falson.

Rich people really seem to lack some sort of personal engagement or beeing able to compromis with certain major parts of living together. Either a lot of them get too greedy and become some kind of "pure egoist" or they are not able to share and split their wealth in a correct matter.

Indianapolis Colts taking retired Kerry Collins

Kerry Collins seems to be getting hot again in the NFL. THe Indianapolis Colts hired him and made an agreement with him. He was a retired quaterback who is now back and playing for the Indianapolis Colts.

Collins has been signed late in the summer before, also on a semi-emergency basis. In 2006 the Titans brought him aboard on Aug. 28 when Billy Volek was struggling and Vince Young was a rookie. The crash course on Tennessee's offense didn't go well, as Collins was 0-3 as a starter before being benched. But, to be fair, his top receivers were Drew Bennett and Bobby Wade, not Reggie Wayne and Dallas Clark

It looks like Kerry Collins is getting compared with Brett Favre because he has come out of retirement to be Peyton Manning´s substitue or possible replacement.

If you want to read more historical data on this football player follow the links below:
Kerry Collins has been here before, but it didn´t go well
